A quick question for anyone that may know; is there some way to tell how long
Windows XP Pro has been running? Basically, it's "up time"? I've already
thought of finding the LAN connection and checking that, but unfortunately
the computer in question doesn't have one. So, does anyone know of some
obscure setting buried somewhere that will tell you how long WinXPro has been
up and going? Thanks in advance for any help.

Uptime in XP Pro:

1. Start>Run cmd [enter]
2. net statistics workstation [enter]
3. The first information you see will tell you how long the computer has
been on.

Uptime in XP Home:

Start>Run>msinfo32 [enter] Then select Components>Network>Adapter. Then
find the item: last reset. Belarc Advisor will also give you this
information.

Thanks Malke, that was actually precisely what I was looking for. Good to

From the command prompt, type "systeminfo" (without the quotes) and
press enter.
