Fair Swap

Hi

I had a Powercolour Radeon 9800 Pro 128Mb card purchased for me by my
wife for my birthday. However i prefer nvidia cards.

Would it be a fair swap if i advertised my 9800 pro for a straight
swap for a 5900 ultra? Mite be pushing my luck asking for a 5950
ultra!

You should install the card and see what it does before deciding to go with
a FX card. The 9800Pro is a fantastic card that does AA and Anisotropic
Filtering better then anything that Nvidai has to offer. I was a Nvidia
buyer myself, then I decided I wanted to be able to enjoy what my games
really look like. I've been blown away by what this card can do. Plus the
fact that it makes your 2D look much better as well. My desktop is much
sharper and has much better color then with my old Ti-4200. Do a little web
searching and you'll see for yourself that the 9800Pro is one of the best
cards on the market and beats out even the 5950 when it comes to high res
with AA.
As for the swap, why would anyone want to swap a much more expensive card
for the now around $215 9800Pro?
You're sure not going to find any hard core Nvidia buyer that would do that.
Give your new card a chance you won't be sorry.
