I loaded MS AntiSpyware and it found several infections not
previously found. THANK YOU.
However when I tried to Update the program I get a message
saying: "WARNING, COULD NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET! I
have Norton Internet Security and I even uninstalled it and
tried the update thinking it was preventing the update with
NO success. Any suggestions?

I've also had the same problem.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling MS antispyware, but
it made no difference.

I've got the same problem - Kirk

I as well have the same problem.
However, it did work for about the first 2 weeks after
initial installation. Something made it unable to find
the internet.
I have uninstalled and cleaned the registry. A reinstall
after all that still could not detect the internet.

Anyone have any ideas?

I'm having this problem also. Have tried a few things
but nothing is helping. Everything else on my system is
responding to the interenet just fine.

My experience has been that if this message is in red letters, it means that
Internet Explorer is set to "work offline." That's certainly one cause of
this message with the update function, and easily checked.

Please check whether Internet Explorer is set to 'work offline.' That is
one possible cause of this message.
