For some reason my windows refuses to hibernate, it can go into standby mode,
shut off and restart successfully, but does not go into hibernate mode ,
although hibernation is enabled in the power options. It used to hibernate
earlier. I ran (System file checker)sfc /scannow, but nothing has changed. My
windows is totally updated via mirosoft updates. I have Toshiba laptop
satellite, Pentium M 1.5 Gb processor, 1.5 GB RAM and 120 GB HDD, partitioned
with C drive having total size 58.7 GB and free space 31.8 GB. I run paid
norton antivirus, paid PC tools antispyware, free lavasoft ad aware, paid
zone alarm firewall, and paid noton antibot all regularly updated, my CC
cleaner removes junk files regularly paid PC Tools registry cleaner run reg
clenaer regularly and HDD fully degfragmented by Perfect disk v 8.0 . There
is also a hybersys file found by perfect disk when it runs to defragment my
HDD. I have tried , but I have not been able to find the cause for lack of
hiberbation, Whenevenr I try to put it in hiberbnate mode, it says in a
bubble at the right bottom, that "Windows - system error : Insufficient
system resources exist to complete the API".
Could you plaese help me
Sincerely
