I find I have to reload Windows XP. Am trying to boot from the XP cd but my
system won't load from it. I have to following:
P4T-E
Memorex DVD+RW/+R
I am able to access the DVD player with no problem while in WindowsXP

I have changed the boot settings in the Boot up settings, making the DVD
number one in the sequence of boot up.... and still no go.
I am able to boot successfully via the floopy or the hard drive.

Could it be the mother board Bios is messed up?
Thank you.

The way around this would be to create a 98 boot disk with the DVD drivers
on it.
See http://www.bootdisk.com/

http://www.bootdisk.com/bootdisk.htm

The disk images are here.

You could use Nero - make a bootable cd, use those images in the correct
section, just copy the files from the cd across and burn.

Hmm.. looking at the options, I'm not sure how you load multiple disk
images. I do recall that there are multiple boot sectors. I found the info
on a site looking for how to slipstream a SP into 2K or XP.

This is an article with what looks like suitable instructions and a link to
the image you need: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=160 (feel free
to ignore the slipstreaming stuff and skip straight to the section on making
the cd bootable)
