I have a shortcut to IE6 loaded in my Startup folder.
Frequently, IE6 does not load on Startup and the
message "The page cannot be displayed" appears, but when I
hit the "Refresh" button IE6 does load. I am operating
Windows XP Pro on a wireless network and I suspect that
the problem is one of timing in that the wireless
connection is not made in time at startup so that when
Startup tries to access IE6, the wireless connection has
not yet been made.
