When I run Netdiag on a couple fo my servers they pass all tests except for
the Redir and Browser test.
The message given is :
[FATAL] Cannot send mailslot message to '\\domain*\mailslot\net\netlogon'
via redir. [ERROR_BAD_NETPATH]
The servers in question are in a DMZ zone on a firewall. Ports have been
opened as specified in an MS document detailing ports required in an AD
environment (adsegmented.doc). What ports would the Redir and Browser be
using ?
I am also seeing event ID 3034 (MrxSmb) entries in the System Log with the
message :
"The redirector was unable to initialize security context or query context
attributes."
I'm guessing that, although we opened all the ports specified in the MS
document, we may still be missing something.
Any ideas ? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
