When trying to start my other computer, I cannot get it going. I have tried
to start in all safe modes, I get scrolling text and then it stops, not with
a cursor or anything. just dead in the water. When starting "normal" the MS
XP screen comes up, but the blue "loading" indicator does not start moving at
all. When trying to start in the "last known good version, the same screen
(startup for MS Xp) comes up, but never continues with loading windows. i do
not have the startup floppy that came with the pc. Is there some other option
to restart?
OS is Xp home version. pc is an older hp
