Fails to load new page

At www.pcworld.com and www.cnet.com and www.charter.net
IE6 on Windows xp sp1 fails to load pages, acting like it
is refusing cookies, I've set all my security setting in
IE6.0 to default.

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.
