Failing To Retrieve Backup List Too Many Times

I keep getting browser warnings in my System Event log
about the Browser service on only one of my Windows 2000
Domain Controllers:

Event ID: 8022
"The browser was unable to retrieve a list of domains from
the browser master \\X on the network \Device\Y. The data
is in the Error Code"

I've checked and it is pointing at my Wins Server, I can
ping any computer by DNS name (with or without the
domain.com at the end) and when I bring up the browse
list, I can see everything on my network. I'm a little
confused as to why I keep getting this message on my
server when everything appears to be fine. Anyone have any
ideas?
 
So they say it's not really a problem, but I don't like
messages like that in my Event Viewer. Whenever I'm out of
the office, non-network people panic at the sight of stuff
like that. What if I turn off the Computer Browser
service? Will that take care of it? Thanks for the help!
 
I was only going to disable it on that particular server
since it's the only one getting that message - at least
temporarily until it can get fixed...

However it may not be necessary to have it running on all
systems. Some error and warning messages are normal. It
might not be appropriate for everyone to be examining your
logs; after all, you can spot whatâ?Ts relevant?
