failing to detect intruders

i recently installed m/s antispyware beta1 along with
another non m/s antispyware. While the other non m/s shows
intruders and warnings the m/s does not. Why is this so?

This is a ongoing battle between advertisment/spyware and
antispyware solutions.

I think AD-Spyware leads this battle now but maybe in future
antispyware can beat this all of these "pests".

Use two independent program such as MSAS and Adaware
or what suits you.
 
Ensure that Realtime Protection is on, right click on the MSAS icon in the
system tray and ensure that the Security Agent Status is enabled. Also, this
is beta, and you can't expect it to be 100%, but you see some improvements
by beta. Which particular is MSAS not finding for you? Also try running full
system scans in Safe Mode. Scan Options > Full System Scan.
