I've owned my gigabyte 9600 pro for about 3 months now and just starting
yesterday my video game performance is garbage, M$ flightsim has a target
framerate setting and its maintaining that but bumping the detail down to
very basic, I tried Desert Combat mod for BF1942 and its pretty much
unplayable, any suggestions on where to start at?

Check your systems on virusses..maybe a virus is using up processor time...

well I think I found the problem, about a month ago I changed a setting that
was supposed to help flight sim performance so I fugred I'd give it a try,
system/advanced/performance/advanced/ I had changed memory useage from
Programs to System cache, remembering that I changed that last night and had
a look at the Virtual Memory, running XP and for some reason a size of 768MB
was specified and I've never touched that so I changed that option to system
managed size, reboot and played DC for 3 hours.
