failed to remove or Quarantine Program

I ran scan and it came up with Conducent. Timesink high level alert which I
tried to remove and Quarantine it comes back as failed, 0x8007800f both times
and suggests rescan, still no results. Running windows xp home p4 service
pack 2 celeron(r) cpu2.93GHz with 248 mb ram and have slave h/d out of older
machine in it also

no I have not and I do not know how or what to run in safe mode

In safe mode, some of the protective services which these programs use to
ensure that they aren't removed, are not running, so they are easier to
remºve.

OOppps I click Enter

In safe mode, go to Start and select Windows Defender.

Look on top for Scan and the white triangule and select full Scan.
