To All:
I often find myself unable to open documents followed by this message,

FAILED TO OPEN DOCUMENT
Unable to read from C:\Documents & Settings\default\My Documents\My Pictures\Bowl Test 1.jpg, it is opened by someone else.

Any remedies?

The message you are receiving is usually pretty straight forward. "Someone
else" could be another person on your network or it could be another
program.

If the image is unavailable because another user has it open, work with a
copy of the file. Later when the original file is not in use by another
person, overwrite it with your newly edited copy.

If the image file is open in a program, close it before trying to open it
again with another program.
