Failed to load resource dll message

I get this message when launching IE 5. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Windows XP only uses IE 6. Are you using Windows XP?
If you are using IE 5, then you are not running Windows XP.

Ok. Its 6.0. I use the 5.0 on my Mac. The error occurs when opening IE.
