Help! this is the message I get when I try to load
internet explorer 6. When I press the OK buton it then
says it has to close. My operating system is XP, I have
gone into the logs and the error message reads as
follows:- Faulty application.explore.exe vers.
6.0.288.1106, faulty module dernal32.DLL version 5.1
260.1106 faulty address 0x00013887.

I recently had 'mydoom' worm and I think I may have
deleted something I shouldn't have if this is the case
how do I restore it.

morbens,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).

TDS3 is installed and I also run spybot to clear sytem
regularly. I've tried downloading IE again and
installing and about 10% through the installation I get a
message that is something like 'not a valid XP program'
and terminates

morbeans.
That message is usually caused by AdRoar
Are you sure SpyBot is updated?
Ad-Aware detects Adroar ........
Note: shows up in HijackThis as either:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E0F0E0E1-5D45-11D4-BC00-2DCC73302D70} -
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cpr.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FAC6E0E1-5D45-4907-BC00-302D702DCC73} -
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cpr.dll

Do NOT just delete the .dll as the CLSID needs to be removed also.
