I have posted this in OfficeUpdate group as well as many others who have been
experiencing the same issue. There have been no responses to these posts
there, so I am trying here.

Running Vista Home Ed 32bit, 2gb Ram, 3400 CPU, NVidia video, Office 2007
Ent.

The update KB956358 won't finish!
Keeps giving "WindowsUpdate_0000057E" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" and then won't
finish.
Why is this happening! Please help resolve. Thank you!!!

Installation from the downloaded update fails too.
First I get a message saying "the security update...... has stopped
working". Clicking Close Program provides the message "The installation of
this package has failed".

All other security updates for O2k7 recently released have completed
installation.

This is a real issue effecting a lot of people.
It needs to be taken seriously by Microsoft.

Go to the Office site, find the KB956358 update in Downloads, save it
to the HD, and install it.

BTW that's REGEDIT not RESEDIT, and you don't need to type the .EXE
extension.

You are one more dumb little ****er.

"You are one more dumb little ****er"? This is the height of your
supposed "trolling", Tom? And you ask yourself why we all laugh at you?
