Failed MSI 9800 Pro?

My 9800 Pro card seems to have died. It seems to boot okay but when XP
attempts to set some settings after the initial part of booting I get
thousands of thin short lines across the screen, I can make out windows and
buttons but that is about it. Is this likely to be a failed card or has my
power supply gone west? I tried it in another slower, older PC and it was
the same (it may be a bit low on power as well of course).

Anyone have experience with this?

Thanks.

I'd try reinstalling drivers first. Sounds like it's fine until XP loads
it's drivers.

Safe mode does the same thing, it does the same thing in another PC, I used
differennt drivers, same result. I will pick up a replacement Saturday.
