failed installation

After trying dozens of ways to install KB967715, my computer won't oblige
me, so I just ignore it now. Is there any good reason why I need to install
it? Is there any danger in not installing it? .

Fix you windows update, and your problem will be solved.

look particularly at the "Reset, Repair and Reinstall the Automatic Updates
System" section.
I've used this method many times to fix windows update.
