We had a domain controller die in a remote site and cannot be recovered. I
was asked to delete it from AD and assume it being unrecoverable. I did a
metadata cleanup and got a confirmation from ntdsutil that the server was
indeed deleted. Later when I tried to delete the computer account from Domain
controllers in AD users and computers I received the following message: The
DSA object cannot be deleted.
Any idea what I did wrong and what can I do to successfully delete this
account?
Thanks
