Faild to initialize

Hi,

I try to run Windows Defender on a Windows 2000 pro SP4 computer. I went on
Windows update and did all the updates. The computer is now up to date.

I installed Windows defender without any problems but as soos as I try tu
run it, I get this message (in french) :

''Application failed to initialize: 0x80010534. Le mappage entre les noms
de compte et les ID de sécurité n'a pas été effectué.''

What should I do?

Can you go to Windows Update, do an Express scan, and apply all offered
updªtes

Once that is finished, can you verify the update installs? There are many
pre-requisite files which are needed from windows update and signature
update with windows defender will fail until you hªve these files.

I already did all of that, because I searched the newsgroup for a solution to
my problem.

I still have the same problem running Windows Defender.
 
I downloaded the version released in april

Still happeing the problem

win 2k all updated SP4 Pt-BR
