fade music

I'm getting married in less than 2 weeks and can't figure
out how to fade the music that I have embedded into the
slide show that I have been working on to show after the
reception dinner. I have multiple songs that end abruptly,
how can I fade them out when needed? Please help!
 
PowerPoint just plays the files as it receives them. You'll need to edit
the sound files in a sound editing program.
