I am searching for "low-level" information to build a business case, to
highlight/justify the *values* active directory brings to the organization.
Any links to related papers/articles/etc are appreciated.
Low-level is meant, in the case fo lowering cost of ownership, e.g., active
directory helps reduce the number of domain controllers, which in turn
reduce the cost of acquiring, maintaining and support hardware and licenses.
It may also reduce the number of administrators. In the case of improving
security in the sense that when an employee is transferred from one position
to another position, his/her access can be transferred by "drag and drop"
from one organization unit to another organization unit.
Any pointers help find these types of information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
