Hi,

I am having problems with the Media Center Edition Can't use SFC /scannow and the screen in DOS Only
is cut off by about 10 letters on the left side.
With Windows Professional can I watch DVD's and save all kinds of pictures?
Can you tell me exactly what the differences are?
I know the MCE is Pro. with extra features. I just don't know what they all are?

Have a nice day.

Here is a link comparing 5 versions of XP:

However, you would do better to solve the issues on your computer. Based on
the other thread you have going, it might be most practical for you to take
the machine to a professional computer repair shop (not your local version
of BigStoreUSA). I'm not saying this to hurt your feelings, but a
professional will probably be able to very quickly diagnose what is really
going on here.

Hi,
I just wanted you to know I am in constant touch with HP Tech. Support and they are the ones that
are telling me what to do.
