Factors influencing speed in laser printers

Hey Guys,...Help me in getting some info on the factors which
influence speed in laser printers..Normally monochrome laser printers
have speed of around 20ppm. But i have heard that the fastest laser
printer can print 200 pages in a minute...
So pls help me in getting some info (pdfs/documents) on the factors
which influence speed in laser printers

Spend $20,000. instead of $200 and you will get the 200ppm that you
want.

The fastest laser printers can print much, much faster than that.

For what purpose are you using a laser printer?

For general office work, it can be much more than simple speeds-n-feeds.
Two printers with identical raw speed ratings can be radically different
in overall performance with several types of documents.

So what are you wanting the printer to do?
