Hi folks!

Is the F1 key not supposed to bring up the main Windows Help and Support
window? If so, mine is not working (ie. it has no effect whatsoever when I
press it). Anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance!

Carmen

F1 will bring up help in individual applications but it does not bring up
Help and Support on the Start Menu.

Sure it does, Michael--if you press it while the focus is on the
desktop, rather than in an application.

Thanks Guys! I guess when I was pressing it I might have had a program
highlighted or something... cause it's working fine now.

Thanks again!

C.

Mine doesn't and I'm using an MS Natural Keyboard.:-) I guess mine is
busted too!<LOL>

Whoops, ignore last response. Okay, after I managed to shut down everything
running including Roxio's Drag to Disk which loads by default when I boot, I
finally managed to bring up Help and Support.

Great, glad to hear it.

Thanks, Ken, not only does this correct my own misimpression but gives me
new information. I rarely use the F1 function anymore; I certainly should
have investigated further when I first posted.

Not a problem. We all make mistakes.
