F-Secure Internet Antivirus, update definition virus problem.

Hello,
I have just downloaded F-Secure Internet Antivirus 2004 trial version
but I have a problem. When I check the virus definition update, it
need some hours. It has to download a 5712 K file.
Is it normal? I think it is a problem.

Yes and no... Under normal circumstances definition updates should
only take a few minutes. However after you first install FSIS it will
automatically download the latest version of the program and all the
definition updates which can be several megabytes to size.

Once it's installed and updated the daily updates usually about 10k or
so in size and can be downloaded in a few minutes... About every 4-5
weeks there's a cumulative update that can be several megabytes in
size and can a while to download over a dial-up connection.
