I have a question. Does anyone use F-Prot for Linux? And if so, do you
happen to know if it protects from all viruses, or just the linux viruses?

Hi,

The main purpose of F-Prot/Lin, as far as I know, is usage on a server
for windoze files to check _those_ for viri - also, as it uses exactly
the same .def-files as the windoze version, I'd be very surprised if it
found only the perhaps 50 linux viri. ;)

Detects the same as the windoze version.

Been running the FreeBSD version since it was available and the Linux
version before that (after being "ELF'd" to run).. never had a problem
at all.. it scans my collection and reports the exact same as it did on
my windoze box =)

Ian
