F lock

How can I start my computer with the F lock key ON (I rather use the hot
keys F1-F12 instead of copy, open, etc.)?

I have a MS keyboard with no such option in it's software.

Get a normal keyboard. I have two keyboards like that and, after getting
tired of hitting the F lock key, I replaced them with two KeyTronic 12
euro keyboards.

If you open up the Microsoft Keyboard control panel, it should be possible
to disable the function of each F key as it appears while the F Lock is
'on'..
