F:\ is not accessible. Access Denied

So i had an issue with my old CD rw / dvd rw cd rom drive where it wasn't
reading any type of media (Cd's, dvd's, cd-roms). I went through all the
trouble shooting info and asked some friends about it and they said it would
be easy to just buy a new one.

So i bought a new external CD-Rom. I thought it would be easy... plug an
play, however now i get error messages saying F:\ is not accessible. Access
Denied.

Anyone have any ideas.... ?

F: is the USB external CD drive?
