eyetoy webcam problem

hi everyone.

i am having troubles with my eyetoy webcam. it was working fine until one day the computer wasn't reading it anymore calling it a " unknown device " and this came up no matter what USB slot i was using. since it says this i can't even use it now. what should i do?

I don't know if this will help but try uninstalling any software that came with the camera and disconnect it from the machine.
Reboot and reinstall the camera but in a different USB port.
