Extreme difficulty uploading web pages

I am using Front Page 2002 and Windows XP (SP1). When i
try to upload by web pages the upload either fails due to
time out or it takes forever to upload a single page. The
server i am using has got Front Page extensions
installed. I have also checked by internet connection
(ISDN 128kb) and the speed it good. Strangely, if i
upload the same web pages from a machine running Windows
98 and Front Page 2002 with the same modem there is no
problem at all. Are there any settings within Front Page
2002 or Windows XP that would help? Deperate. Thanks
