On "msconfig" there are a whole bunch of things loading that I have no idea
what they are, under the "systems" tab. Under the "startup" tab are things
that I recognize and want.
Some seem to be needed. I de-activated the whole bunch and it frowned on
re-booting but a second boot brought it up and I just re-activated the whole
bunch like Billy Gates seems to want us to do. :-(
Each page of them are 10 lines and there are 8 or 10 pages of them. Surely
they are not all needed on boot especially when the program will call them
*if* needed later.
2.2g, 512m, 60hd, xp-pro, all those good things.
Now for the toughie.......
Is there a program that will go in and read *your* setup and point out the
un-needed boot ones and give you the option of removing them from the
"system" startup file?
