Extraneous formatting codes in Index

Hi,

Strange problem. I'm indexing a 500 page book. There are a couple hundred
index entries. Maybe a half dozen of the entries come through in bold.
There is no visible reason for this. The original entries in the text do not
have a bold code anywhere near them. Suggestions?

provided that the bold formatting is not due to a field switch of the
underlying XE field: deleting and recreating the entries has usually
fixed the problem for me. Sometimes there has *been* a bold entry where
the field has been inserted originally.
