Hi there,
A few months ago I used Irfanview to create a screensaver (.scr) with
lots of digi-photos that I took on holiday.
I also had the photos stored elsewhere on disc... but they got
accidentally wiped before they were burned to CD.
So all I have now is a 14Mb .scr file containing all my photos.
Is there any (free or cheap) piece of software that I can use to
extract the photo files from the screensaver file? Presumably the
original Jpg files are all contained within the big file in some way.
Yes, I know I could hit the "PrtSc" button on my keyboard to copy the
image on the screen to the clipboard and hence on to any image editing
program of my choice, but there are about 80 photos in the slideshow
screensaver and some of the orginal photos were at a higher resolution
than the screen resolution, so I'd rather extract the photos if there
is any way of doing this.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Please reply to the group rather than by e-mail as this address is
just a spamtrap.
Cheers,
Ricky
