Extracting audio from DVD

Perhaps I'm just missing the boat on this one.

I'm trying to capture soundbytes from DVD's to WAV or MP3's. I just want the audio.

I've tried with VirtualDub, but had no success.

Any suggestions?

BeSweet ( http://dspguru.doom9.org/ ) lets you convert .vob files into wave
or mp3 too.
So you can use a dvd ripper to obtain .vob, and then have your audio file.

A good free dvd ripper is DVD Decrypter:
