extracting an attachment automatically on arrival

Ive set up a rules wizard too run a script to extract an attachment, but only when that mail is active. 2 questions
how do I 1. keep the focus on a mail in the script from a rule wizard

2. is ther a better way of extracting an attachment from a mail to a folder.
