The two suggested options were not meant to provide or duplicate all of the
functionality of Word or Excel. In fact, when you use the Publish it with
Word option, notice that the report is exported to an RTF file not a DOC.
Does the report need to be editable by others after it is created? Or, do
you want to export the report so that others who do not have Access
installed can read it? If the answer to this last question is 'Yes', then
perhaps an export to PDF will work for you. PDF drivers are relatively
inexpensive (a Google search will list many possibilities), and the Adobe
Acrobat Reader is free and easily downloadable.
If you will provide the forum with more detail about why you want to create
your Reports/Charts in Access and export them to another application,
perhaps someone will have a solution for you.
