Hi,

I have an email group.
I know that I can go into the general properties and see the list of
members.
If I want to print out this list. How do I go about it in stead of
having to type up all the names all over again?

How can I find out who the owner is of the group?

Thanks,

S

Outlook does not use groups. It uses Distribution Lists.
File ... Print works here for DL's.
Is that now what you're using?

Thanks Russ,

I am indeed isomg the Distribution List.
But when I do file, print, it only prints the name of the list, but I
would like the names of each member of the list.
Is there no way of telling who owns the list other than right clicking
and properties?

Thanks

S

The entire list prints here and I've heard of no similar issues.
How was this DL created and where does it reside?

Russ,

Maybe this will help clarify what I'm trying to portray...

The file print works only if the name of the address are listed beside
the
TO: line, ie TO: (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed)
In this case, "TO: (e-mail address removed), (e-mail address removed)" gets printed

but if I have TO: QA-group
Only "TO: QA-group" gets printed.
I would like the names of the members in QA-group to be printed.

I'm not sure what you mean by where it resides.. how do i find that
out?
In the process of finding out how the list is created, but I assume
like any other lists..

Create a distribution list using names in the Address Book

On the File menu, point to New, and then click Distribution List.
In the Name box, type a name.
Click Select Members.
In the Show names from the list, click the address book that contains
the e-mail addresses you want in your distribution list.
In the Type name or select from list box, type a name you want to
include. In the list below, select the name, and then click Members.
Do this for each person you want to add to the distribution list, and
then click OK.
If you want to add a longer description of the distribution list,
click the Notes tab, and then type the text.

The distribution list is saved in your Contacts folder by the name you
give it.

You lost me. What does the To: Line have to do with it?
You open the Distribution List and click on File > Print...

This is what I"m doing
In Inbox-MS Outlook
click New
In Untitled-Message
type QA-group beside TO:
click File
click Print
result: only "QA-group" gets printed, not the actual members.

when I double click on QA-group, i see the list of members' names.
But there's no option to File, Print.

Just open the Distribution List from your Contacts Folder. Don't try to open

I added qa-group to my contacts
Inside contacts, I double clicked on qa-group
clicked on file, print
only the name of the group came out, the members' names still didn't show.

I'm not the creator of the group does that have to do with it?

Quite possibly. I can't check since I'm not running against Exchange. You
should always include information about your information store and Outlook
version when you post questions to so that accurate answers can be provided.
You left far too much to assumption.
