I need to create some images to be used for a javascript animation. I
was planning to create the animation in Powerpoint, but then, how can
I extract the single frames from the animation ? Any tools out
there ? Maybe freeware. Thanks.

I don't know anything about javascript animations. Do they work similar to
animated GIFs with single images displayed for the fraction of a second? If
so, I would make a video of the animation and extract the single frames as
images. The tool I use for such tasks is Camtasia Studio (which is not
freeware), www.techsmith.com. I just blogged about producing animated GIFs
with this program:

(in German).

Best regards,
Ute
