Hi,

A friend send me a .zip file trought Live messenger.
The file is composed of two .exe files.
When I came to extract them, I could't and this message appeared:

Windows determined that this file might be partially dangerous (I'm sure not!)
To help you protect your computer, Windows bloqued acces to this files.

How can I get acces to the files? I've tried all I could!

Thank you

Christian

There might be a good reason for Windows blocking them. Have you scanned
the zip file with an up-to-date AV program? Do you trust your friend?

Personally I would delete it if I saw that message from a file
downloaded using Messenger, even if I knew the person.

I think you need to enable AV scanning within Messenger.
Once you do that get your friend to resend the file.
Worked for me.
