No mater if I start with a brand new Word document or an existing one (even a doc. brought over from Wordperfect) I have the last page of every document thrown into extra spacing. It almost looks like Word is putting it into an outline. I have tried so many areas to figure out this problem (big problem) -to "fix" it I just throw an extra page at the end of every document so that page receives the spacing problem but there should be a solution. I have check the paragraph formatting and spacing, I have check my compatability tab under options, I have check my "normal" default, I have checked the Styles Formatting too........
any suggestions?

Sue,

If you want, send me a sample document (directly to me) so I can see what it
is you are having problems with and I will send you back a fix.

Are you opening the document with the recover any text from file option set?
In some Word versions, this option sticks until reset to Word documents.
