Any where I can get detailed info on problems exporting .txt files from an
Access report.

The only MS resource I can find tell me to make all text boxes divisible by
..125.
This helps, but does not eliminate problems. I still get extra spaces near
page breaks. I get some extra spaces in the report footer (which I cant stop
from going to a new page when it is long even with keep together set to "no")

Thanks

You might want Stephen Lebans' Report Utilities.

In addition to the 0.125 inch thing, try this:

1) install the Windows Generic/Text Only printer driver .

2) format all the text in the report in 10 pt (or maybe 12 pt, I can't
remember) using a monospace font such as Courier New, no bold or
italic or anything.

3) adjust things until it looks right in Preview.

If exporting to .txt still doesn't work, print it to file using the
Generic/Text Only driver.
