External Popups

I have installed popup blocker after popup blocker, but
none of them seem to catch a few. I think that these
might be generated by an external application or plugin,
but I can't find it any where in my system.

Without knowing which you have installed, I would suggest
uninstalling *all* of them via Add/Remove Program in Control
Panel.

The Google Toolbar has a relatively good popup blocker that
is safe. http://toolbar.google.com/

I suspect that one of the popup stoppers/blockers *may* have installed
something undesirable on your system. Or by something else.

You can also try a program like ad-aware do a yahoo search
for it. It gets rid of all sorts of junk.
