Some of our applications are being hit with this bug in
our TS farm. We've identified the problem as the network
redirector prematurely closing connections to files that
multiple users access, as documented in Q294816. However
the Microsoft status is a bit troubling:
"Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem... This
was determined to be too large of an architectural change
to implement as a hot fix for Windows 2000. There is
currently no hot fix available."
Doesn't look like it will ever be fixed under Win2k. So
our question is, does anybody know if this issue has been
addressed in 2003 server? We'd consider an upgrade if we
knew it would fix it. Thx for any help, Chuck
