I'm wondering if I'm on the right track with my situation. I have several
remote offices that need access to an application on a centralized server
here at the main office. My users will sometimes be accessing this
application from home, sometimes from the remote offices and sometimes from
temporary field offices on laptops. I would like to use MetaFrame for this
as it has many bells and wistles that I like so my first thought was to use
Terminal Server CAL's for all of these remote people. But the licenses for
that are issued on a per device basis so each user could potentially need 3
licesnces apiece, which seems a little pricey on a per person basis.
I then ran across the External Connector License which seems to run in a per
user basis. Is this what I want to use and will it work with MetaFrame?
Slightly confused by the TS licensing model,
