External Connection

I know I can use the linked table manager to determine the location of
a linked table. How do I do the opposite, that is, how do I determine
what source is connected to my table?

I am working on a db that has been working correctly for many years,
but suddenly has stopped working. Looking at the data, it is evident
that some other program is supposed to be updating the tables. The db
is so old that no one knows anything about it or how it is getting its
source data. If I could determine the source of the data, that would
be helpful.

Any ideas on how to determine what external source is putting data
into my table?

Sorry, but there's nothing built into Access to give you that information,
nor am I aware of any third-party products.

Given that connections could be made from anywhere, it would be a pretty
monumental undertaking to try and build a utility to determine that
information.
