I recently acquired an older ASUS P2B.
Each time it boots up it does an extensive and time consuming memory check. I've searched through the bios settings and can't find a
setting for memory check. What am I missing?

Thanks in advance,

Dale

Quick Boot = Enabled

BTW, that memory check is NOT extensive, it is just for looks, and to
find VERY glaring errors... But ya, what he said. :)

I couldn't find a "Quick Boot" option either, but I updated the bios from 1012 to "1014 beta 003" and booted up with the bios in
"default setup" mode and the problem went away.

Thanks
