I have a video clip in between several photos. I'd like to extend the sound
portion of the video clip to play over the following 2 photos. Is there a
way to extend just the sound portion of a video clip?

Some things are easier to do than they
are to expliain but I'll give it a try...

If the audio is speech that must be in synch
with the video, I don't think extending it can
work...but if it's music...try the following.

In timeline view...drag a copy of the video
clip to the Audio/Music track. Now you can
place your pointer on the Audio/Music track
and slide it left or right. Also you can...Right
click / Copy...the track and Paste another
copy in the Audio/Music track.

Also you may want to...Right Click / Mute...
the original Audio track.

Your explanation is very clear. Since the audio is music, I'm hoping it
will work seamlessly according to your instructions. I'm off to give it a
try.
