I would like to export my address book to my notebook from
my PC. The OUtlook import/export boxes are dimmed and are
not turned on. Where do I go to start/turn on that feature?
Thanks.

my version is Outlook 2000 sp3...but i am not sure what
the difference is between the address book and the contact
view. Thanks for your patience.

Post your Outlook version.
Remember that Outlook has no address book. If you want to export your
Contacts, do so from the Contacts Folder, not the Address book view.

All your Contact data is stored in your Contacts Folder. In Outlook, the
Address Book is simply a view of your Contacts Folder. It contains no data.
That's why exporting is done from Outlook, not the Address Book view.
